Job summary

Fox Heating & Cooling in Boise, Idaho, seeks a full-time HVAC Service and Repair Specialist who delivers quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial systems, traveling the service area and clearly explaining findings to customers.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year residential HVAC experience, Idaho Journeyman or Apprentice registration with 2,000 hours, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver's license

• 1+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Active Idaho HVAC Journeyman registration or Apprentice with at least 2,000 documented hours.
• EPA Section 608 certification.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Professional, dependable, team-first attitude.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC issues across the service area and perform repairs on residential and light-commercial systems.
• Explain findings and recommendations clearly to customers and complete repairs per manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Maintain service documentation, communicate with the office team, and keep vehicle, tools, and workspace organized.
• Represent Fox Heating & Cooling with professionalism and deliver outstanding service to customers.

As our HVAC Service and Repair Specialist, you'll earn $25–$35 per hour depending on experience, plus performance-based SPIF opportunities. You'll also have the opportunity to earn overtime and after-hours pay at time-and-a-half, as well as a $1,000 sign-on bonus after successfully completing a 60-day introductory period and remaining in good standing.
