Job summary

Blaze Heating Cooling Electrical and Plumbing is seeking an HVAC Sales Technician in Raleigh to educate customers on comfort systems and drive sales. You will deliver compelling presentations, build value, and secure agreements while maintaining professionalism and customer focus.

With 3+ years in sales and HVAC preferred, you will follow company standards for pricing, proposals, and job specifications, while pursuing referrals and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout installation and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• HVAC experience preferred (3+ years).
• High school diploma required.
• Must pass MV, background and drug screens.
• Excellent customer service, reliability and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on new comfort systems.
• Execute sales presentations and close deals.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Obtain customer authorization for all jobs.
• Prepare proposals and price jobs per company standards.
• Pursue referrals from satisfied customers.
• Follow up after site visits to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure profitability through accurate job pricing and value.
• Review jobs with the department manager.
• Communicate job details and scheduling with support staff and installers.
• Submit required forms and pictures via email with clear specs.

Compensation

• $75,000 - $120,000/yr+

What YOU Will Do

• Educate customers in new comfort systems.
• Execute sales presentations, building the value greater than the customer’s investment.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Assist customers to achieve healthy, comfortable, safe environments by asking questions to find out what their needs are.
• Obtain customer authorized agreement for all jobs.
• Complete proposals and price jobs to our customers within the guidelines set forth by the Company standards.
• Actively pursue referrals from satisfied customers.
• Follow up site visits to assure quality, and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Ensure profitability of the department by accurately proposing all jobs, using book pricing, with an emphasis on quality and value.
• Review all jobs with the department manager.
• Communicate with our support staff, in a timely and efficient manner details of jobs, financing, and job scheduling.
• Submit via email pictures and required forms in a timely fashion and describe in detail the specifications to finish the job as was promised to the customer.
• Communicate to Installers the job requirements and expectations of the customer through verbal communication, pictures, drawings, and written forms.
• Maintain contact with Installers and customers during installation to ensure a quality system is installed.
• Prospect for new customers by outbound calling or contact neighbors of recent installation customers to increase customer base and personal income.
• Attend and participate in regular scheduled sales meetings, special sales training and technician technical training meetings on relevant topics.

What We Need From YOU

• 3 years of Sales experience minimum
• 3 years of HVAC experience preferred
• High school diploma
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new methods
• Must pass a motor vehicle & background check and drug screen
• Superb customer service skills, honesty, dependability, and reliability
• Physical dexterity
