Service Experts in Jeffersonville, IN seeks an HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will discuss comfort options with customers and promote relevant products and services, while delivering consistent, high-quality customer care.

Ideal candidates have HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid license. The role requires physical stamina, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 0–2 years of HVAC install/service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and access tight spaces.

Responsabilités

Completes all forms and paperwork in a neat, timely, complete, and accurate manner. Collects payment from customer.Communicates with dispatch, while on duty, to ensure dispatcher has an accurate status report of activities and availabilityResponsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfactionPromotes products and services to the customer. Calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit.Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activitiesFollows standard procedures and process, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to the branch, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as neededPerforms similar/other duties as needed or assignedRegular, reliable attendanceDesired Skills and Qualifications:Solid understanding of HVAC systems; previous experience as an Installer, Maintenance, or Service Technician Required ability to work independently; good problem-solving skillsProven HVAC sales experience, with a preference for experience with direct selling to consumersA demonstrated ability to effectively communicate on concepts to a variety of audiencesMust possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work areaEPA and safety certifications requiredSkilled at servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessoriesProficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipmentProficient and able to install a basic duct fittingProficient at troubleshooting and repairing electronic air cleaners, refrigeration systems, humidifiers, and related equipment with little to no supervisionEffective communication skills to communicate with customer and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concernsEffective and efficient time-management and organizational skillsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordAvailable to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as neededAbility to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units. Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areasAbility to safely climb 300lb load capacity rated ladders with a 30lb tool beltAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds• Minimum Experience: 0 - 2 years • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED Equal Opportunity Employer.
