Job summary

Elevate Home Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Selling Technician in Fort Myers. This role offers a competitive hourly rate or uncapped commission structure, allowing for high earning potential and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience with strong diagnostic and repair ability.
• Proven experience selling service agreements and system upgrades.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including heating and cooling.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of residential HVAC systems.
• Identify maintenance concerns and clearly explain findings to homeowners.
• Perform emergency repairs with urgency and professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of residential HVAC systems and equipment
• Identify maintenance concerns, risks, and system inefficiencies, clearly explaining findings to homeowners
• Present repair, maintenance, upgrade, and replacement options in a clear, educational, and trust-based way
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures accurately and efficiently
• Perform emergency repairs with urgency, professionalism, and attention to quality
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, codes, and company processes
• Deliver an excellent customer experience through communication, professionalism, and respect
• Educate homeowners on system performance, maintenance plans, and upgrade opportunities when appropriate
• Leverage both technical and communication skills to improve comfort, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience with strong diagnostic and repair ability
• Proven experience selling service agreements, system upgrades, and replacement options in a consultative way
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including heating, cooling, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical principles
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trust quickly
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to ongoing training, development, and professional growth
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working in confined spaces when necessary while maintaining safety standards
