Thirty Madison Ventures in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an HVAC Sales Technician to diagnose, repair, and sell residential systems. You’ll walk homeowners through options, present clear estimates, and collaborate with the install crew on larger projects.

This role offers a $30/hour base plus 6% commission on all sales (uncapped). Top performers can earn $100K–$300K+. Take-home company truck, health insurance, 401(k), and PTO are provided. Residence in Palm Beach County preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-time residential HVAC field experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair common cooling and electrical issues on day one.
• Your own tools, and truck-ready.
• Strong communication skills and comfort presenting options and closing sales.
• Residential background with minimal commercial experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
• Residence in Palm Beach County.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.
• Availability for the one-in-four on-call rotation.
• Steady work history with long tenure at previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Run maintenance, repair, and free estimate calls for mostly residential work; light commercial up to 5 tons.
• Diagnose cooling and electrical issues accurately and independently, minimal tech support.
• Make on-the-spot repairs to restore cooling, e.g., contactors, motors, refrigerant.
• Provide clear estimates and options on every call, from repair to full system replacement.
• Sell repairs, maintenance agreements, add-ons, and systems up to $15K+.
• Sell larger jobs handled by install crew; coordinate with other technicians.
• Take company truck home and drive to first call each morning.
• Cover on-call week in rotation.
