Intertek is seeking a Project Engineer – HVAC Safety in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves independently testing and evaluating products to U.S. and international safety standards, authoring reports, and communicating with clients.

The position includes potential travel up to 50% and requires strong technical and communication skills. The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, have HVAC safety testing experience, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• HVAC safety testing/certification is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs dictate.

Responsabilidades

• Read and determine applicability of national codes and standards clauses for the EUT (equipment under test).
• Perform testing of products in accordance with standards across multiple tests (rating, leakage current, dielectric, temperature, pressure, stability, etc.).
• Mentor junior technical personnel.
• Provide quotes with project length, site needs, rental equipment, samples, and standards.
• Set up and operate standard test equipment and calibrate fixtures.
• Log, package, and move samples through the facility; ensure proper handling.
