Job summary

The Corken Steel Products Company is seeking a Counter Sales associate to provide exceptional customer service and order support for varied customers, including contractors and walk-in clients. The role requires proficient computer use and accurate handling of quotes, backorders, and warranty questions.

Responsibilities include processing will call and delivery orders, sourcing parts, and communicating lead times and order updates to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in counter sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, roofing, or related products is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers in person, over the phone, and digitally.

Responsibilities

• Take and process customer material requests at the counter, by phone, or via in-branch communications.
• Enter and process will call and delivery orders accurately and timely.
• Source, quote, and follow up on non-stock, special request, and customer-requested items.
