This role focuses on retrofits, replacing old systems with modern, efficient units, including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, and ductless systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with current HVAC equipment, including light commercial.
• Hold a valid driver license.
• Maintain an insurable driving record.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to communicate with customers.
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces & in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Replace and upgrade old heating, cooling, and ventilation systems with modern, efficient equipment.
• Install a wide variety of units, such as air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, ductless systems, and water heaters, with their key components.
• Handle integration of new systems, including intake fans, humidifiers, and RTUs, ensuring the system functions as a high-performance unit.

Position Summary:

This job involves a specialized focus on HVAC retrofits, meaning you will be primarily responsible for replacing and upgrading old heating, cooling, and ventilation systems with modern, more efficient equipment. Your work will include the installation of a wide variety of units, such as air conditioners, furnaces, and boilers, ductless systems, water heaters along with their key components like electric motors and heat pumps. You'll also handle the integration of these new systems, which includes installing related equipment like intake fans, humidifiers, and RTUs (Rooftop Units), ensuring the entire system functions as a seamless, high-performance unit.
