Job summary

Carrier in the United States is seeking a Rental HVAC Branch Associate for the Canton, MI market. You will handle on-site deliveries, pickups, and equipment installation of portable A/C and heating units, and provide product and technical support to customers.

Under moderate supervision, you will troubleshoot issues, coordinate with customers, ensure fleet readiness, and complete paperwork per policy; benefits include health, retirement, time off, and incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to climb a 10 ft ladder.

Responsibilities

• Extensive driving to multiple customer sites daily.
• Site deliveries, pickups and installation of portable A/C and heating gear.
• Provide product and technical support under supervision.
• Conduct customer training and briefings on equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and suggest compliant solutions.
• Keep fleet and accessories clean, maintained and ready to rent.
• Maintain warehouse and trucks for maximum efficiency.
• Complete paperwork: rental/sales agreements per policy.
