Job summary

Walmart in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for full-time work at local retail stores. The role supports and oversees refrigeration and HVAC repair within Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC/R skills, hand tools, and digital tools to complete jobs.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver’s license, and HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment.
• Use hand tools, digital tools, power tools to complete jobs.
• Receive and document repair Work Orders; support Stores and Store associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
