Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Sparks, NV is seeking an Assistant HVAC/REF Technician to help maintain and repair air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment across casino, restaurant, kitchen and hotel areas. You will work with HVAC technicians, assist with installations, and support maintenance service contracts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years in the trade, plus strong communication, organization and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
• Five+ years or better in trade.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.
• Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC/REF Technicians in maintaining and repairing equipment across the property.
• Work with hand and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Assist on larger installation projects with technicians and contractors.
• Respond to thermostat changes and department requests.
• Maintain safety and report hazards to the supervisor.
