Job summary

Kroger is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration technician to provide maintenance, repair and support across assigned stores. You will drive to stores daily, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues and replace compressors or large motors as needed.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of HVAC experience, EPA Type 2 Certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years' proven refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• EPA Type 2 Certification.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use control manufacturers' software.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment, refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls.
• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and procedures.
• Perform repairs to systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain inventory of parts and use documentation for repairs.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with company policies.
