Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking an experienced HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic for CHA Cambridge Hospital. The role involves installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

You will respond to department service calls and work with minimal supervision, reporting to the HVAC Foreman. Work hours include 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am with rotating weekends and holidays, totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• HVAC trade school certification or equivalent.
• Experienced HVAC mechanic/technician in building maintenance operations.
• Ability to perform installation, inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of HVAC/R systems.

Responsibilities

• Diversified installation tasks.
• Operate, inspect and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Repair duties for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and related control systems.
• Receive work instruction from HVAC Foreman.
