Qualifications

• Two years of HVAC/refrigeration maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems to prevent failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components, controls, valves, motors, dampers, and fans.
• Assist with installation and startup of basic HVAC units and ventilation equipment.
• Manage refrigerant handling and recovery in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and agency staff on system design and operation.
