Job summary

Walmart in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician with strong experience in large-scale rack refrigeration and professional refrigeration maintenance. You will repair and maintain Walmart facilities’ Refrigeration HVAC equipment, use various tools, and document repairs to support store operations.

The role requires EPA refrigerant handling certification and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II/Universal).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use hand tools, digital tools, power tools to complete jobs.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
