Job summary

Required: High School/GED, HVAC experience at Tech I level or higher, EPA refrigerant card, and a valid driver’s license. The role includes on-call standby, overtime, and heavy manual labor with safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before start date)
• HVAC Refrig Mech Tech I – Two years of prior successful work in building trades or related education
• HVAC Refrig Mech Tech II – Three years of HVAC experience or related education plus one year
• HVAC Refrig Mech Tech Lead – Four years HVAC experience or related education plus 2 years

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain HVAC equipment from small vent units to 35-ton rooftop units.
• Read engineering blueprints and install equipment, start up, debug, and make it functional.
• Analyze mechanical, electrical, piping, and refrigeration problems in various systems.
• Repair or recommend solutions if repairs are not feasible in-house.
• Be on rotating standby for emergencies after 5 p.m. and during weekends/holidays; work overtime as required.
