Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing team, specializing in industrial and commercial systems. This full-time position is based in Waltham, MA, with service routes across Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, a commitment to customer service, and a proven track record working with commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, RTUs, chillers, and boilers

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance

• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers

• Document work performed using service tickets and reporting tools

• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards

• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC/R service, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting

• Valid EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License or ability to obtain

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environmental conditions
