Job summary

Nextech is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician in Dickson, TN. In this role, you will deliver high-quality service to commercial clients by diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems, performing maintenance, and ensuring excellent service delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field experience and EPA certification. Competitive compensation starts at $25.00/hr, with opportunities for bonuses and a fully equipped company vehicle.

Qualifications

As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality service to commercial clients. From troubleshooting to repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance — you’re the expert our customers trust.

Min Compensation

USD $25.00/Hr.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
  • May require a Journeyman's License in some states
  • May require state specific licenses
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role. You should be able to:

• Safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits
• Lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs
• Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks
• Maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity
• Stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
• Use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
• Operate work-related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
• Travel to customer sites as needed
• Occasionally work in an office environment
• Follow all applicable safety procedures
