Job summary

WEIS MARKETS, INC. is seeking a Store Service Supervisor to supervise technicians and contractors across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. You will ensure repairs meet company standards and safety practices, coordinating with external vendors and internal teams.

The role requires on-site leadership, energy-efficient installations, and ongoing training of staff. Prior supervisory experience and refrigeration expertise are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary training in refrigeration (or equivalent).
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise technicians and outside contractors.
• Knowledge of EPA regulations governing refrigerants.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Service Techs and outside contractors to ensure compliance with EPA regulations and proper refrigerant handling.
• Review safety practices, preventive maintenance, and work assignments with technicians.
• Interview and onboard new Service Techs; perform annual performance reviews.
• Oversee installation of refrigeration equipment during store construction and remodels.
• Coordinate with other trades to minimize customer disruption and ensure specifications are met.
• Prepare and submit weekly activity reports to the department manager.
