Illinois Wesleyan University is seeking a full-time on-campus HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair campus heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The role requires EPA certification and a willingness to obtain a Certified Pool Operator within 1 year, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The purpose of this position is to provide space comfort for the entire campus communityand the buildings they occupy. The person in this role will install, maintain, andservice building and departmental heating ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigerationequipment. This position coordinates work with other trades and must be certifiedto perform work to levels set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency. The personin this role must be able to diagnose complex equipment problems, use sophisticateddiagnostic equipment and EPA approved refrigerant reclaim equipment.
