The Construction Association of Michigan seeks an HVAC technician to work at Ohio Wesleyan University. This role involves repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems while supporting overall facility operations. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in related fields and a strong commitment to customer service.
Strong technical skills in HVACR, electrical control systems, and safety codes are essential. Applicants must possess a Universal refrigerant license and EPA certification, along with a valid Ohio driver’s license.
You are an HVAC tech with license to handle refrigerant who has a passion for building relationships and helping people. You might already have specific experience working in construction or have served in roles in the building trades. OWU Facilities Services is a dedicated group of trades and general maintenance technicians, dedicated to Ohio Wesleyan University students and the campus we collectively serve. This position has a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with many groups on campus and to be a part of a team that focuses on growing skills and developing employees.
Working under general supervision, the incumbent will apply knowledge and skill to repair, install, maintain and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including associated and connected equipment. Complete routine and emergency work orders. Performs preventive maintenance, as assigned.
