Patchogue-Medford School District is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Mechanic III with HVAC/Refrigeration experience to perform installation, service and maintenance of boilers, unit ventilators and related systems. The role requires ability to read blueprints, work independently and coordinate with district staff.

Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm, with potential changes for maintenance projects. A valid NY driver’s license may be required; fingerprinting, drug screening and medicals are possible

Formación

• HVAC and refrigeration experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
• Must be able to work independently and complete projects to completion.
• Valid NY driver’s license may be required for some assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Proficient in installation, service and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems including boilers and climate-controlled units.
• Inspect and adjust temperature control devices and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and follow building specifications and plans.
• Communicate effectively with building staff, maintenance teams and district personnel.
