Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, monitoring, and testing of HVAC, Medical Gas, and Refrigeration equipment across hospital infrastructure. The role requires ensuring safety, compliance with Joint Commission requirements, and prompt on-site response to emergencies, shut-downs, or repairs.

• Ensure upkeep, operation, cleanliness, and safety of all HVAC/Refrigeration/Med Gas equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and on-site repairs; participate in safety and reliability initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with staff and participate in department meetings.

Job description

HVAC/REFRIG TECH/ PRN/SUPPORT/ 8(+) HRS PER PAY PERIOD/ 7AM to 3:30PM or 3:00PM to 11:30PM/ WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS

An HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of repairs, preventive maintenance, monitoring, and testing of HVAC, Medical Gas, and Refrigeration equipment. Responsible for the upkeep, operation, cleanliness, and safety of all HVAC/Refrigeration/Med Gas equipment associated with the infrastructure of the hospital. Ensures all of The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements are completed. Participates in department and craft meetings and uses correct safety work habits. Must be available and onsite for all emergencies, shut-downs or repairs as requested.

Demonstrates prompt and courteous services to customers and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization. Executes independent judgment under the implied guidelines of Premier Health’s quality, customer satisfaction, positive work environment and financial stewardship goals.

Experience

• Minimum Level of Experience Required: 5 - 7 years of job related experience
• Prior job title or occupational experience: Minimum of five years working in the HVAC trade.
• Prior specific functional responsibilities: General construction/ maintenance experience on HVAC, refrigeration, and medical gas systems.
• Preferred experience: Hospital maintenance experience preferred
