Job summary

Premier Health is seeking an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician at Upper Valley Medical Center. The role covers repairs, preventive maintenance, monitoring, and testing of HVAC, Medical Gas, and Refrigeration systems.

You will ensure safety and compliance with hospital infrastructure and TJC requirements. Requires 5–7 years in HVAC/refrigeration, High School diploma or GED, and Universal Refrigerant Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of HVAC/refrigeration experience.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Hospital maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, monitoring, and testing of HVAC, Medical Gas, and Refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure upkeep, operation, cleanliness, and safety of all HVAC/Refrigeration/Med Gas equipment.
• Meet Joint Commission (TJC) requirements and participate in department meetings.
• Be available onsite for emergencies, shut-downs, or repairs as requested.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Ensures all of The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements are completed. Participates in department and craft meetings and uses correct safety work habits. Must be available and onsite for all emergencies, shut-downs or repairs as requested.Demonstrates prompt and courteous services to customers and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization.
