Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications and prepare simple specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and drawings to plan installations and determine efficient HVAC system setup.
• Clean coils, pans, and components to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with supervisor, inspectors, suppliers, contractors, and district personnel.
• Diagnose causes of HVAC system failures and plan repairs or replacements.
• Estimate labor, materials, and equipment for projects to ensure timely completion.
• Install HVAC equipment including actuators, compressors, controls, sensors, and EMS components.
• Maintain records of repairs, test reports, and activity logs.

New Mexico Construction Industries Division Journeyman’s License is preferred
