Job summary

Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to deliver reliable, high‑quality service to commercial clients. You will diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance, acting as the trusted expert customers rely on.

Responsibilities include documenting service details on iPads, maintaining tools and a company vehicle, and coordinating with dispatch for timely service delivery. This role requires reporting to work from various customer sites with potential after-hours work and growth

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HVAC/R field technician.
EPA certification required and valid driver’s license.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
Comfort with mobile apps and technology.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
