Job summary

Avatt Services, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration electrical, mechanical, and EMS control systems in supermarkets, convenience stores, and warehouses.

The role requires on-demand service, strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a valid state driver’s license. EPA certification and HVAC/refrigeration experience are essential, with ice machine experience a plus.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• 3+ years HVAC/Refrigeration experience required.
• Ice machine repairs experience is a plus.

As a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician you will be performing work in the maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of refrigeration electrical, mechanical and EMS control systems commonly installed in supermarkets, convenient stores, and warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on demand Refrigeration and HVAC service for commercial customers
• Maintain quality customer service
• Provide timely and quality repairs
• Keep a clean, organized truck
• Technician will be required to follow a monthly on call schedule

Basic Qualifications:

• Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• EPA Certification Required
• 3+ years HVAC/ Refrigeration experience required.
• Experience with ice machine repairs is a plus
