Job summary

Oncue Marketing is seeking an HVAC/R technician to address heating, cooling, and refrigeration needs in the OKC Metro. The role focuses on RTUs, walk-in coolers/freezers, and related systems, with additional maintenance, plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot promptly, communicate with store personnel and supervisors, and participate in an on-call rotation about one week per month. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required or must be obtainable.
• EPA Universal is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperature alarms via email/SMS text.
• Participate in on-call rotation after normal business hours and weekends.

Job Location: OKC Metro - Oklahoma City, OK 73105 Position Type: Full Time Travel Percentage: Road Warrior Position will be located in the Oklahoma City, OK Metropolitan Area.

POSITION SUMMARY

The HVAC/R technician will respond to the company's heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration needs in the OKC Metro. The primary focus will pertain to coolers, freezers, and rooftop units (RTUs). However, other general maintenance, plumbing, and electrical issues will need to be handled as the need arises. The HVAC/R Technician will troubleshoot and make repairs promptly and communicate with store personnel, the Maintenance Supervisor, and other servicemen. This position has an On-Call rotation, approximately one week per month, to provide service during irregular working hours. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have an excellent driving record.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform service and preventative maintenance on company equipment including, but not limited to, air conditioning, electric fan motors, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, fountain refrigeration equipment, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers
• Be able to troubleshoot electrical components and read wiring diagrams
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts
• Maintain a company vehicle
• Monitor and manage temperature alarms that are provided digitally through email/SMS text
• Participate in the on-call rotation that provides service after normal business hours and on weekends
• Adhere to the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with the Maintenance Supervisor
• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of the company
• Maintain safety standards
• Ensure compliance with safety codesAdheres to all city, county, state, and federal laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain a positive working relationship with other team members and members of management
