Job summary

G.E. Mechanical, LLC is seeking skilled HVAC/R technicians to join our New Jersey team.

You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems for a variety of clients, with meaningful responsibility to run projects and influence daily decisions. We offer a 15% shift differential, no on-call requirements, overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA certification.

15% SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL AND NO ON CALL

Responsibilities

Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems

Commercial/industrial customers include restaurant equipment, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, distribution companies, and super market refrigeration

Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems to including split systems, chillers, packaged units, oil- and gas-fired boilers and control systems

Ability to work with tablet-based service ticket software system for all HVAC/R work performed

Perform HVAC/R preventative maintenance service for contract customers

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED

3+ years of HVAC experience

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of Commercial refrigeration experience

Commercial and residential air conditioning and gas/oil heat service experience

Commercial and/or residential HVAC replacement experience

Understanding of control systems and wiring

EPA certification

Professional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the company
