CoolSys is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across our customer base in the Everett area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and walk-ins, ensuring safe operation and compliance with EPA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience, an active EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate service visits with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

The HVAC/R Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician


• Active EPA Certification


• Valid driver's license


• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills


• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills


• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.
