Job summary

Benedict Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician HVAC-R to maintain, repair, and install refrigeration, HVAC, ventilation systems and commercial kitchen equipment. This role works independently with some team input and reports to the Service Manager.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA Universal Certification, and 1 year of related HVAC experience (2 years preferred). A valid Class D license is needed plus ability to travel between sites full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Minimum one year of related refrigeration/HVAC experience, two years preferred.
• Valid class D driver's license and insurability required.
• Ability to travel between job sites 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and makes modifications to commercial mechanical equipment.
• Reads and understands blueprints/schematics to repair/maintain equipment.
• Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
• Safely operates company vehicle, tools, and testing devices.
• Communicates effectively with customers and team members.
