Role Description

This full-time on-site HVAC/R Service Technician role is based in Cleveland, OH and focuses on commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems. The technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, coolers, freezers, and control systems. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, completing preventive maintenance, documenting service activities, and communicating clearly with customers and team members. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety standards and EPA regulations, accurately using tools and test instruments, and supporting emergency service calls as needed to maintain reliable operation of mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance for commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with professional communication and service-oriented problem solving.
• Valid EPA certification for handling and recovering refrigerants, with knowledge of applicable regulations and best practices.
• Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC/R environments; familiarity with mission-critical facilities is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and complete clear service documentation.
• Comfort working in field environments, including occasional overtime or on-call coverage; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Relevant technical training or trade school certification in HVAC/R; journeyperson-level experience or equivalent is preferred.
