Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an HVAC/R Technician - Apprentice to learn and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on store HVAC systems, ice machines, and refrigeration equipment. You will work under the guidance of an experienced technician, complete work orders, and maintain service records.

Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, preventive maintenance, and after-hours support. A valid driver’s license, EPA Universal Certification, and willingness to travel regionally are

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
EPA Universal Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Ability to obtain state licensure (if applicable) within 2 years.
Valid driver's license required.
Ability to travel daily throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

Assist an experienced technician in completing work orders and repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R and related equipment.
Maintain preventive maintenance checklists and documentation.
Provide timely status updates to maintenance leadership and customers.
Diagnose and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical components.
Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
Order parts and assist with minor repairs as needed.
