Job summary

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township is seeking a 3rd shift assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will follow established procedures to assemble and rework moderately complex products and sub-assemblies, set up instruments, and perform wiring and soldering tasks.

The role requires 2–3 months of Bacharach HVAC-R manufacturing experience and a high school diploma. You will read drawings, operate measuring devices, use SAP, and work overtime with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 months of hands on Bacharach HVAC-R manufacturing experience required.
Length of time required to become proficient on the job, producing work of acceptable quality and quantity is from 6-9 months.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Following predetermined procedures to assemble, modify and rework moderately complex products and/or sub‑assemblies including set‑up of moderately complex instruments and/or sub‑assemblies requiring wiring, soldering and connecting.
Following predetermined test procedures and performing minor troubleshooting at the assembly level to ensure proper operation of the instruments.
Packing products and accessories according to customer specifications.
Visual inspection and performing minor repairs.
Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to production and the company’s objective is required.
Maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.
Completing and maintaining relevant paperwork and inputs information in the computer system.
