Job summary

Walmart is expanding its refrigeration and HVAC maintenance team in New Hudson, MI. Developmental Technicians will perform inspections, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment under supervision to ensure safe, efficient store operations.

Candidates should have EPA 608 certification, a valid driver's license, and either 1 year of related trade experience or 2 years of Walmart store experience. The role is full-time with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

EPA 608 Certification for refrigerant handling (within 90 days)
Valid state driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record
Option 1: 1 year of experience in plumbing, electrical, materials handling equipment, or related area
Option 2: 2 years Walmart store experience

Responsibilities

All primary responsibilities performed under direct supervision of an experienced technician
Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills
Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document activities
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
Complete all required training to operate equipment safely
