Job summary

Pilot Company is hiring for an HVAC service technician to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs across Knoxville-area locations. You’ll troubleshoot HVACR, food service equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) match, tuition/adoption assistance, and PTO. A valid driver’s license and EPA 608 certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 3 years repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• OSHA guidelines knowledge; OSHA 10 training provided.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Communicate repair status with supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day notes and ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels; manage service vehicle and tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVACR and related systems.
• Travel to assigned store locations; ensure OSHA compliance.
