Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility HVAC/R systems across store locations. You will work from home dispatch with a company vehicle and be paid weekly, with benefits and uniforms provided.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, EPA 608, and at least 3 years of commercial HVAC experience, including cooking/refrigeration equipment. OSHA 10 training is provided; travel is under 10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• OSHA 10 training provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel requirements less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in accordance with warranty requirements and industry standards.
• Communicate repair status with the service technician supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit them to your supervisor; ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, replace fuel filters, and work on fuel security systems (training provided).
• Inspect facility interiors and exteriors for safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including rooftop HVAC units and other food service equipment.
• Ensure all repairs and work activities comply with OSHA and Pilot Company regulations.
• Model company values and support guest and team member experiences.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and safety standards established by Pilot Company.
