Job summary

ResQ is seeking a General Manager, Field Service Operations to own the field organization end-to-end for its HVAC/R services. You will hire, train, and lead technicians, set technical standards, and drive service operations, customer experience, and financial performance across multiple markets.

The role requires deep HVAC/R expertise, proven management of field staff, and the ability to scale a commercial service program while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC/R experience.
• 3+ years managing technicians, dispatch, or service operations.
• Active Class A HVAC/R contractor license (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel 25-40% and cross-border travel between Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build & lead HVAC/R technicians recruitment, onboarding, and retention with clear performance standards.
• Establish licensing, insurance, safety, SOPs, pricing guardrails, and escalation procedures; own dispatch and customer satisfaction.
