Salt Lake Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in the HVAC program. The position involves teaching in a competency-based classroom and lab environment, with on-site campus presence to foster hands-on learning and industry readiness.

Qualifications

Ability to instruct in HVAC with hands-on teaching style.
Familiarity with competency-based classroom formats.
Ability to communicate across diverse student populations.
Experience with industry certifications such as EPA RMGA.
Substitution of education/experience permitted per policy.

Responsabilités

Provide practical HVAC instructional support in commercial and/or residential settings.
Accommodate various learning styles, emphasizing hands-on training.
Advise students on program requirements and progression.
Collaborate with department faculty to coordinate classroom activities.
Work in a team environment across instructional delivery formats.
Provide industry-standard instructional support for certifications.
Support student learning activities and monitor progress.
Maintain program quality and adherence to learning plans.
Follow SLCC and department policies; other duties as assigned.
Communicate effectively with a broad range of people.
