Bosch Home Comfort Group in Wichita, KS is seeking an HVAC Prototype Fabricator (Model Maker) to join the Engineering Lab. You will build prototype test equipment, fabricate parts, and help advance HVAC testing in a state-of-the-art facility.

The role requires a 2-year HVAC degree or equivalent, 3+ years of hands-on experience, ability to read wiring diagrams, fabricate sheet metal, brazing and welding, plus good computer skills. On-site work with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required qualification: 2 year degree, HVAC training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of wiring diagrams, wiring modifications, and controls.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, brazing and welding.
• Ability to lift equipment and operate testing stations.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools.

Responsabilités

• Build prototype test equipment per engineering specifications.
• Fabricate custom parts for test units and testing stations.
• Invent new concepts for HVAC equipment.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
