Job summary

The Wren Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Tech to ensure the upkeep of the building and grounds through routine tasks and emergency work orders. You will handle repairs, make-ready tasks for apartments, and respond to on-call maintenance requests as part of a team dedicated to resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring HVAC and plumbing knowledge, a proactive mindset, and experience with make-ready and work order systems.

Qualifications

• EPA HVAC certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
