Job summary

Aspen Square Management is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to join our Ocala team. This role focuses on completing work orders, performing routine HVAC maintenance, preparing apartments for new residents, and upholding property standards while delivering excellent resident service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in maintenance, EPA licensure, and hands-on HVAC experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and own hand tools; on-call rotations and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience (property management or housing advantageous)
• EPA licensure is required
• Hands-on expertise with HVAC systems
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations for emergencies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the site
• Provide own hand tools
• Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders promptly and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems and preventive upkeep
• Prepare apartments for new residents, make readies, and punch lists
• Collaborate with maintenance and office teams to uphold property standards
• Maintain curb appeal and the visual appeal of the property
• Provide top-notch customer service to residents
• All other duties as assigned
