Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a skilled engineer to design and implement custom HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities in Georgia. You will collaborate with Sales on design specs, perform psychrometric analysis, and develop control sequences for DDC systems.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and implement engineering projects for custom HVAC equipment for industrial and commercial applications.
• Assist Sales with preliminary design, submittals and analysis of contractor’s/engineer's technical specifications.
• Perform psychrometric analysis of design requests.
• Perform design/development tasks in engineering/manufacturing using CAD tools and appropriate hardware/software.
• Use in-house software for refrigeration system balance and operation.
• Select components to achieve design and prepare bills of materials for Purchasing.
• Assist Purchasing in selection and qualification of potential suppliers and procuring components.
• Develop unit sequence of operation and select DDC components to achieve sequence.
• Provide unit operation sequence to electrical for wiring diagrams.
• Prepare production instructions and provide engineering input and troubleshooting for testing before shipment.
