Job summary

Joseph Michaels International in Douglasville, GA seeks a skilled HVAC engineer to conceptualize, design, develop, and implement custom commercial HVAC projects. You will support Sales with technical submittals and analysis, perform psychrometric analysis, and use CAD tools to advance design and testing before shipment.

You will select components, prepare BOMs, and coordinate with Purchasing to qualify suppliers while developing unit sequences of operation and DDC components to meet project

Qualifications

Experience in HVAC engineering for commercial/industrial projects.
Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering software.
Ability to perform psychrometric analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, develop, and implement HVAC engineering projects for commercial/industrial facilities.
Assist Sales with preliminary design, submittals, and analysis of technical specifications.
Perform psychrometric analysis of design requests.
Conduct design/development tasks using CAD tools and in-house software for system balance.
Select components, prepare Bills of Materials for purchasing.
