Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking an HVAC engineering professional to conceptualize, design, and implement engineering projects for custom HVAC equipment across commercial and industrial settings in Georgia. The role includes supporting the Sales team with design/submittals, performing psychrometric analyses, and using CAD tools and in-house software for system balance and operation.

You will select components, prepare BOMs for Purchasing, assist in supplier qualification, and develop control

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop, and implement engineering projects for custom HVAC equipment for commercial and industrial facilities.
• Assist Sales with preliminary design, submittals and analysis of contractor’s/engineer’s technical specifications.
• Perform psychrometric analysis of design requests.
• Perform design/development tasks using CAD tools and in-house software for balance and operation.
• Select components to achieve design and prepare bills of materials for Purchasing.
• Assist Purchasing in supplier qualification and component procurement.
• Develop unit sequence of operation and select DDC components to achieve sequence.
• Provide unit operation sequence to electrical for wiring diagrams.
• Prepare production instructions and provide engineering input/testing guidance for equipment.
