Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for a premier mechanical contractor in the NY/NJ market.

You will oversee HVAC installations across multiple projects, targeting on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting safety and quality goals. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, creating schedules, coordinating engineers and field teams, managing budgets, and reporting status to management.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and familiarity with design and installation.
• Commitment to safety on all projects.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget, schedule, quality, and technical performance of assigned project(s).
• Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and leadership skills.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, and notify field of changes/issues.
• Read, analyze, and understand design specifications, submittals, and contracts.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders clearly and timely.
• Coordinate with mechanical/electrical/structural engineers.
• Provide regular updates on work performed, plans, budget, and status.
• Manpower planning, scheduling, and training to ensure skilled labor for major projects.
• Oversee and coordinate manpower on job sites.
