Job summary

Casto Technical Services in Charleston, WV seeks an Experienced HVAC Project Manager/Estimator to lead retrofit and installation projects. You will prepare bid packages, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with specifications.

The role requires knowledge of RS Means estimating, bid documentation, AIA forms, and strong communication. A technical HVAC background with 3–5 years of related experience is preferred, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Understanding of plan and specification construction bidding and contract requirements
• Ability to multi-task and respond to rapid changes in project requirements
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, editing PDF documents, assembling, and organizing, and indexing project documentation
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project specifications and drawings, and contract document requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bid Documents: track bid reporting, obtain plans, prep forms and bonds, and deliver bids before deadlines
• Prepare Contract Documents: schedule, schedule of values, safety docs and compliance
• Project Management: coordinate pre-construction meetings, mobilization, subcontractors, progress reports and close-out
• Quality/Compliance: ensure installation meets specifications and safety requirements
