Job summary

Yale Mechanical, LLC is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to lead projects from proposal through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget results and client satisfaction. You will coordinate engineers, installers, and subcontractors, manage documentation, and uphold safety and performance standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC sales or project management, a related engineering degree, and familiarity with CRM and PM tools. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in HVAC sales, project management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, HVAC design, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as P.E., E.I.T., or HVAC credentials are a plus.
• Proven success managing HVAC projects from start to finish.
• Knowledge of airside, chilled water, steam, and heating systems.
• Familiar with CRM platforms and project management tools.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth through proactive outreach with commercial and industrial clients.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and presentations for HVAC projects.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
• Identify customer needs to propose HVAC solutions within budgets and timelines.
• Lead projects from sale through completion with scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Develop detailed project plans and track milestones.
• Coordinate with engineers, installers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, change orders, budgets, and project reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and building codes.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and provide post-installation support.
• Identify opportunities for value-added services or system upgrades.
• Mentor junior staff and stay current on HVAC technologies.
