Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer in Union City, CA, an early-career, full-time role to plan, coordinate, and direct project management activities for HVAC/plumbing construction projects. You will support Project Managers and Project Executives to ensure projects progress on schedule, within budget, and to specification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in construction management or a related role.
• Knowledge of HVAC/plumbing/MEP exposure and building codes/standards.
• Familiarity with construction management software and strong computing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers/Project Executives with assigned project tasks and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate with field leadership.
• Monitor schedule and cost performance; identify variances and implement actions.
• Prepare, submit, and track submittals and approval processes.
• Coordinate pre-construction details with construction, engineering, and estimating teams.
• Support estimating, bidding, and customer-facing activities as needed.
