AMS Industries, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support profitability and quality execution of commercial projects in the Chicago area. The role combines design & engineering, estimating, project management, and entrepreneurial business skills.

The APM will work with the Project Manager, field supervision, and engineering to ensure installations meet specifications, minimize rework, and document submittals and RFIs for accurate project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• College degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years HVAC construction experience including estimating, project management and business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist PM and Field Supervision to ensure installation occurs correctly.
• Develop understanding of Mechanical Systems and troubleshoot installations.
• Work with engineering group for Design-Build projects and manage documentation to prevent errors.
• Manage Submittals, RFIs, project specifications, and project plans.
• Maintain log of RFIs, Submittals, Drawings, and Issues for field and office use.
• Review documentation for Scope Compliance and distribute to stakeholders.
• Engage in projects across various markets as needed.
